This worked great compared to the cheap plastic extensions found in the big box hardware stores. This fit my faucet perfectly and I was able to install a faucet on a custom made concrete countertop for my vanity.

Used this item to successfully reinstall a Delta faucet through a new granite top. This item was specifically designated for usage for Delta faucets. The item was all brass with a center riser area with an exactly fitting washer and mounting shim. You do not need any further parts to remount a faucet to a thick top such as granite. I advise: purchase a shank extender for your brand of faucet, and do not purchase any plastic extenders. I had used a generic plastic shank extender, and could not stop a small leak on the hot line.These brass extenders are not available from local suppliers, and my plumber was not aware of such a device. It seems that faucet manufacturers want the homeowner to purchase a new expensive faucet when remodeling is done. A newly manufactured Delta faucet with an extended shank approached $500 on line and costs much more from a plumbing retailer. This item finally solved my leak problem. Also, remember, average faucets cannot be installed through thick countertops without a shank extender.

Not a standard size. Had a plumber try to install and nothing screwed on it. Maybe good over seas but not the US.
