After about 3 uses the hook separates from whatever it is attached to inside the ring. I bought 2 of them and they both broke. You can pull the hook completely out. Poorly made.

We used all Trinsic faucets and towel bars in our new home. Two towel hooks were installed in the primary bathroom. One failed almost from the beginning because it was loose and moved back and forth a small amount when it is designed to remain stationary. Delta sent a replacement. The second hook came out after about 18 months of use. The hook is fairly large so it has the potential to damage anything under it when it falls out, such as the sink, counter or flooring. Luckily, we had no damage. We are 100% happy with the towel bars, just not these hooks. I’m sure Delta would replace it but I don’t want to deal with this every year and will look for an alternative.

Nice, modern, good quality. For some reason I assumed the hanging part would swing forward. It’s great -just worried someone might yank it off the wall. Not much room between ring and wall for thicker towels.

Product does a great job and didn't cost a ton! Just a heads up that any matte black hardware (especially the towel and toilet paper holder!) will always look "dusty"! But if matte black is what you're looking for, this whole line of product is beautiful: clean lines and highly functional!

Heard a crash, and found item hanging part of ring came off and ring fell onto our new quartz countertop. Nothing attaching ring to piece that attaches to wall (small screw was not attached to anything).
