The Dishwasher Kit (Model 12214) ensures that the minimum sanitizing temperature has been reached during the final rinse cycle in high temperature dishwashers. It also helps to control use of energy for hot water generation, which can provide significant cost savings over T-Sticks and thermal labels. The included 11050 thermometer body is housed in the shield while the probe is exposed to verify that minimum sanitizing temperature has been reached. Use to comply with FDA Food Code 4-703.11 (B).

We got this for our dishwasher to replace over priced temp tags for tracking the high temp dishwasher. It’s really great and durable. Definitely better than the amount of money we’ve spent on temp tags over the years.

The thermometer worked perfectly. I placed it in our dishwasher and ran a cycle.very nice display. With the press of a button I was able to read the highest max temperature of a cycle. This insured that our dishes were sanitized correctly.

This looked like a dishwasher-safe meat thermometer with a protective case. I'm sick of replacing meat thermometers every year because they either break in the utensil drawer or get water on them and short out. So this one looked promising. It's not.First it reads pretty slowly. I put it under my arm to test and it took 2 or 3 minutes to get to 95.9F. Also don't know about that accuracy. Tried under my tongue and it got to 96.5??Second The red case cannot be used to store it while the blue protective plastic is on the sensor stick. So not for storage protection.Last, I guess I misunderstood the description. This one is designed only to read your dishwasher cycle temperature, not food. Not very versatile.I also would like an oven safe thermometer so I don't have to cool the oven or burn myself to measure the Turkey. But this was not advertised so no stars off for that.

The second time I used this thermometer in my dishwasher water got under the screen and now the temperature readings can’t be seen. Waste of money.

Don't waste your money, I totally ignored and the reviews and here I am saying I wasted my money. I bought this product to test the temp of my commercial dishwasher as per rules imposed by Alberta's health services. It ran well for the 1st month and then the reading is way off. We tried to compare it to couple thermometers and the reading is off by 20 to 30 degrees which is totally unacceptable! I contacted the seller and he told me to contact the manufacturer, we'll I will but I had to purchase another one as I can't stop my business functioning until I resolve this issue.
