Makes tenderizing your toughest meats a snap! It disassembles easily and cleans up well in hot soapy water. Reassembling it does take a bit of patience but the results are well worth the effort. I would buy it again for sure. Use care when using as it does not distinguish live flesh from food, lol! Loads better than the old hammer tenderizer.

This kitchen tool works easily and is very effective in tenderizing meats of of all kinds. My turkey on Thanksgiving was so tender and juicy. Pork chops, roasts and marinated chicken breast were enhanced by this product! Great tool and reasonable price!

This is my new favorite tool, and I love a good tool! We fill our freezers with home grown beef, and frankly I have been trying to pretend that the round steaks aren't there. In desperation I purchased this gizmo, mostly thawed out a bone-in steak the size of a serving platter, and started punching holes in it with this bad boy. I probably beat that chunk of meat up more than necessary, but it was good for my mental health. A quick pan fry later and it was delicious. We used our butter knives to cut it.I do love stupid directions, and this thing had some good ones. "Don't use it directly on your counter top." Duh. "Don't use it on bones." Double duh. And if I remember, "Don't put your finger under it when bashing the heck out of a piece of meat." (I may not have these exactly right because I am relying on my 67 year old memory.)Also, it was a snap to clean. A quick rinse in hot soapy water and we're ready for the next piece of shoe leather!Great $39 (or so) investment!

The blades gets stuck in steak or thicker cuts. It needed a stronger spring or less blades. It does a nice job on thinner cuts of meat or more tender such as chicken. It is a pain when the blades are sticking.

Super way to save money by buying less expensive/tougher cuts of meat without compromising on tenderness.I have looked at some of the better/more tender steaks and roasts and thought that the prices have gone crazy lately. With the Bold XL Meat Tenderizer we can buy some tougher cuts and tenderize them mechanically.Works very well, is easy to use and quite simple to clean. Pays for itself in lower meat costs and improved texture/taste.

This thing is ridiculous, was cheap to buy, and I understand why, it’s kind of a cheap product. Don’t take this the wrong way, let me explain. It was priced well, & works perfectly. In fact it works so well, it’s a trail and error situation with your steaks. You need to learn and understand your meats. You can completely shred a huge chunk of meat and make amazingly soft steaks with this. How ever you can go to far easily, Not fault of the product though. Personally I love it.However it’s made of kinda cheap plastic and not recommended for the dish washer, I ended up with water going through cracks in the plastic and took days for it to dry out.. they could have put more effort into the design and style with the materials it made of. They should have made a better solid feeling handle while also making it water proof with a rubber coating making it also nonslip.
