I have a 2001 Tracker with a Demco towplate with two lugs for each bar. My 2003 motorhome came with a Demco tow bar that had a single lug for hookup. Over the years the two tabs on the bracket have become spread out allowing the tow bar lugs to flop around when not in tension, which made some clunking noises in the coasting situations.I hammered the bracket lugs to where they were parallel with each other, then installed the new triple lugs ends on the tow bar and boom I was finished. The new hookup had all the pieces necessary to do the conversion and everything fits snug with no coasting clunking.I am very happy with a good end product.

Fits and does the job. It comes with all the hardware, spacers, washers, bolts and locking nuts needed. I have a Demco Commander, it also fits the Excalibur? (heavier rating I believe) . Not a fault of this part but interestingly the Commander uses 3/8" bolts which I had not known. Most others use 1/2". My old tow bar had the single tab adapters, this is the Blue Ox standard three tab which is reassuring.

The item that was shipped did not match the part number. And as such it would not fit the towbar to base plate adaptation.The mount for the towbar shaft must be perpendicular to to base plate mount.
