I have tried almost every pad made for biking: POC, G-FORM, Fox D3O, Troy Lee, etc. This offer the most comfort and best protection out of all of them. They are very similar to the Fox pads but the fox pads only come in 3 sizes and I was between M and L on those. Additionally the fox pads seemed to have a large empty space between the pad and my knee cap. The Large Demon pads fit my leg perfectly. Its comfy, and there is not a lot of excess material/space. I am 6'1" tall and 160 pounds. My knee measures 14" directly around the center of the patella, and my thighs taper very quickly as you go up my leg. My thigh is 16.5" as measured 4" above knee cap center and my calves are about 13.25 at the fullest part. On my leg, the top strap sits more like 2" above my knee cap center, not 4". This pad has an angled lower strap which allows it to rest just above the belly of the calve to prevent slip down.

I am 5’10†average build. I bought an extra large set of knee pads. They fit perfect. Very very comfortable . I had them on for 5 hours and could have worn them on our drive home (3 hours) they are so comfortable. I don’t even need to tighten the Velcro. I bought these over other brands because of the Velcro just in case. I crashed hard at an indoor bike park ( wooden ramps) my first time using them. I landed into the side of the ramp on a sharp edge. These pads held up. No rips or tears. I have no doubt my knee would have been really messed up without this protection. Just for clarification, I’m a 50+ y.o. guy. I’ve ridden bmx and mountain bikes my whole life. Crashes get a little harder to recover from the older I get so I wanted some added protection with comfort. I looked at 3 other brands and kept going back and forth. I finally decided on these. I am completely satisfied

Snowboarder here. Today, I was clocking 42 mph down a steep blue when a wild Jerry appeared. Had to slam on the brakes with the toeside of my board. Too much speed, too steep. Succeeded in missing the Jerry, but I must have slid 100 yards down the run on my knees and elbows while digging my board into the mountain before I came to a stop.I felt absolutely no pain, and not even much pressure on my knees. Without these pads, I'm completely certain that at least one of my knees would have been torn up good. Particularly since I have a pre-existing knee injury.Comfort? Oh yea. Any knee pad will feel more uncomfortable than no knee pad. But I wore these for 6 hours today without removing and I'm fine. 4/5 rating only because the sizing is weird. Make sure to err on buying a larger size if you are skeptical. I'm 5'11", 165lbs. However, I pretty have solid quads and calves for my weight. I got an XL size and they feel good. The 'sleeve' of these pads fit perfectly, but I find I have to tighten down the elastic straps farther than I'd like. But, great option here. I'm definately very happy to have picked these up. Already battle-tested and approved.

Hey snowboarder, don't even try to choose something else. Don't make my mistakes. Get quality protection, even if it's more expensive. Trust me, your knees will thank you. What a pity that no one told me this at the beginning.

I have been researching knee pads for weeks upon weeks, watching videos and side by side ratings from multiple mtb forums, I decided I would try these out since I run their helmet and A fan of it. So here is my opinion, Fit is perfect and super comfortable. Some people have said that the sizing isn’t true, just learn how to measure things and you will get the right size, adding a inch to your size doesn’t always help you. Product and packaging are nice quality and they come with a mesh bag which is nice for keeping them together and helping them air out and get that stanky sweat off that has been beholding up all day. I would recommend these to anybody looking for a affordable set that still offer good protection.

I’ve tried like 6-7 different sets/brands of pads for skating and these are perfect (even though they’re made for biking). They’re super flexible and comfy, I barely remember they’re there. They’re also slimmer than most knee pads and yes, I have taken a good amount of falls on smooth and rough concrete, rocks. No problems and barely felt anything tbh. Def buy the size recommended with proper measurements from the brands site! Don’t size up or down. I’m 5’11†150lb and I wear a medium in knee and elbow. The medium could probably fit someone a bit bigger than me bc there’s still room in the tops of mine. However, there’s elastic that you can get a snug fit with and some gel grips in the tops that grab onto your skin to prevent sliding. 9/10

Wow, these are the best knee pads I have ever tried. The fit very well, and are intended for sports and mountain biking. But I will be wearing them for work under my jeans, and If I ever get my butt back on my mountain bike on the trail. I saw some of the videos on the foam used in these knee pads on Youtube. I was skeptical at first on how they would protect my knees. So when I received these pads I put them on right away, and tested them on our ceramic tile floor. I was super impressed with the protection this foam provides for being so thin. I could drop on my knee and not be crippled. They are very comfortable to wear too, I haven't need to wear them all day yet but I will be trying them out on a full day of work very soon. I would say they do fit as described, but size up if you are a bigger person and do some measurements of your knee and leg.

Purchased for couple of years, I now enter my third snow season and finally get rid of it. The gear is not very comfortable because the inner pad edge is cutting my leg which feals hurts. The protection is also questionable, I really start snowbroading my second snow season, I fall down a lot. When I back home, it's bruised all over my knees.

I was using some no name brand for snowboarding but they are nothing comparing to the Demon Hyper X D30 kneepads. They provide a lot better protection and also comfortable to wear all day at the same time. Even in icy condition my knees are protected when I fall. Will purchase again in the future for other products.
