I'm very fussy about how I look on camera. My laptop (MacBook Pro) has a good built in camera, but I wanted more flexibility. This awesome camera gives me exactly that. With the included remote control I can adjust the lighting, probably the most important feature to look good and professional (like on Zoom meetings). Then the remote enables me to make subtle changes to the coloring to make my skin look natural. And finally it has the ability to zoom in or out so my face is perfect for the screen space. I couldn't be more pleased, and it helps me always look professional. And a great value for the money!

Got mine up in July 2024. It just stopped working on me today. Its a really nice camera for the price. the camera resolution is nice and the pedestal on the camera is pretty good. Overall nice camera I just wished it worked for longer. I do not know what caused it to stop on me

I have a conference call several times a week, which I take on my laptop. My built in camera would give a more washed out look and if I was near a window then my face would either be in darkness or way too white as the camera attempted to compensate for the Sun. This camera has much better automatic adjustment for ambient light to keep things looking as they should when a very bright light source is affecting part of the room. The camera stays mounted to my laptop and is easy to adjust the field of view. It was very simple to install. There is an adapter for USBC, so it works with that and USBA connections. I don't remember if there was anything that needed to be downloaded when I connected the camera, just went into my settings and chose the camera as the video source and either the camera's speakers or my headphones as the audio source depending on what I feel like that day. The built in speakers are fine, I don't know how much ambient noise they pick up because I only ever use them in a quiet room. Overall, a quality purchase for the cost and as long as you're okay with a relatively large camera on top on your monitor, this is a good choice.Many video chat platforms don't support higher than 720p, but having the capability of higher resolutions when allowed is nice.

Used on a conference call today and I was asked by the group what camera I was using. They said this audio sounded crystal clear as well as the video. The camera plugs in and is ready to go-super easy. The remote is a nice feature. You can change quality, zoom, turn mic on and off, and many more. The auto focus is super fast with no delay or grainy picture. The size is perfect to be mounted on the top of your pc/laptop or use the tripod that comes with it. Great value for such high quality and additional accessories!

They work well when they work but support is Zero. I had some issues with them and can not get any support from the manufacturer. Depstech did not even bother to make a PDF of the manual so do not throw away the paper instructions.

Yeah this thing is actually pretty decent. Probably better thank my Logitech 1080p unit. Better wide lens too.
