Filter mount uses Fram PH8A Oil Filter or equivalent.

This is a time saver. I used it to relocate my oil filter on my boat. Now I have easy access to changing my filter. I did use AN fittings and lines. Did not feel comfortable with hose clamps.

very complete system some guys say the fittings are plastic they are not they are aluminum painted black and look like plastic work just fine for me. put on harbor freight wash tank.

Once I opened the package I realized it was a mistake! Wouldn’t put it on and risk blowing my engine, the conversion piece was so cheesy!!I normally don’t write reviews but this was way too wrong!!

Came in a box that has a picture on it just like the picture on the product on here, but when you open it there are plastic fittings and everything is just thrown in a box clanging all over. Everything was there and it should work as advertised, but with it being the size that fits a big block chevy I can't justify using plastic fittings due to the heat. Had to go purchase brass fittings like the one in the photo....

Only reason it gets a good review is because of how cheap it is. The oil lines are fine, but all fittings and threads are sketchy. Get ready to just go ham with thread sealant. I ended up getting it to stop leaking with thread sealant. Thread tape was not strong enough. It uses a Ford truck oil filter which is way bigger than my original oil filter in my little Japanese car, but I ended up finding a smaller filter that would thread on.

Great product it worked perfectly for relocating the filter on my AMC swap.A word of advice is to use teflon tape as well as a liquid thread sealant on the fittings. The teflon tape alone wouldn't seal.

It installs easy. Be careful if you oil filter is low down. You'll need some 90 degree fittings so the hose doesn't hang too low.

Be sure to snug it up or it will leak! hand tight isn't tight enough.
