Includes a high quality, die cast aluminum 1/2 inch NPT ports up filter mount and a 1/2 inch NPT ports spin-on adapter with most everything you need for an easy installation. Filter mount uses Fram PH8A Oil Filter or equivalent. Designed to fit most passenger vehicles on the road today with 2 1/2 inch to 3 1/2 inch oil filter landings. Spin-on adapters provide external oil lines to allow the addition of an engine oil cooler and/or remote filter mount, installing at the stock engine oil filter location. This all-new version has a billet style look and has an ultra-bright, polished appearance.

The block off plate threads were all jacked up. Thus the threaded nipple inserts would not screw in more than 3/16". Will return part to Derale. This part should have not made it passed QC.

No fault of Derale parts supplied.No way on planet earth is an FL-1995-A (7.3L diesel) oil filter going to fit this remote setup. No way was this spin-on adapter going to fit the engine block. I didn't bust a nut or bolt and it was obvious; this is just wrong. Sent back because of Amazon, not Derale.

Use some high temp gasket sealant on all threaded parts and let cure before installing. Double hose clamps on Barb fittings and you will have no problems.

hangs down much lower than the original oil filter, "machining" is no good so all threads leak. Time to order from summit.
