Wow, these are great. To test these out, I laced up my left skate with a Derby Lace, and in my right skate, I left my stock lace that came with my Moxi skates. I immediately noticed a big difference with the Derby Lace. My left foot felt more stable and supported, and I experienced less slippage on the insole. With my stock Moxi laces, I always have to stop skating and re-tighten my laces. But the Derby Lace did not have to be tightened -- it stayed firm throughout my session. The only caveat is, this 10mm model is a bit too wide for the Moxi boot. They don't fit neatly into the ankle hooks. I found out after I bought these that DerbyLaces offer a thinner model called Core that are only 6 mm wide and come in a variety of lengths. I didn't see any for sale here, but they are available on the DerbyLaces site, so I'm excited to try them out.
