So I roller skate, but largely skate parks and trails. I don't do derby, and never have, so this is based on indoor rink skating and trails.These are GREAT laces. Not only is the color bright and metallic, exactly as described, but the laces are thick and solid, and hold up incredibly well. They also tighten and hold much better than the stock laces that came with my Moxi skates, which is nice, since the suede has a lot of give to it, especially when it stretches out.I have a size 7 Moxi boot, and ordered the 108 laces and they have enough room to lace up through the eyelets and wrap around the top of the boot once and tie. HIGHLY recommend, I love these laces.

I love these laces. First bought them 5 years ago in skate shop just because they were bright and shiny....and then loved them for the functionality! They seem to grip to eachother, and once I tie them and go, I don't need to readjust, they stay put! I have used them for roller derby, and now just for regular skating and out door skating! So happy to find them on Amazon after ripping one by sliding on pavement when I fell.....wear your safety gear, fellow skaters!

These hold up well and have enough friction to stay in place. I personally prefer the wider laces and these are a little narrow for my liking. But nothing wrong with them. The color is true and sparkly!

Let me start by saying that I'm a bit of a princess with shoes and I didn't particularly like the brown laces that came with my Sorel Joan of Arc snow boots. After some research, I decided these laces were the way to go and lordy are they adorable. The laces are incredibly tough, too, which permits me to lace my boots up tightly like they're corsets. Will absolutely purchase again for other boots/outfits.

I absolutely love these laces. The color is beautiful and I can’t stop looking at it. That being said, it’s not AT ALL the color in the listing photo. The color in the photo is more like my wheels. I’m just going to get wheels to match these laces since I like them so much though. Gorgeous color regardless.

Definitely high quality. These are amazing laces. I’ve had these for over a year now and they are still shiny and bright like the day I bought them with zero frays and they always stay tight. I have to warn you though, these will stain your skates or shoes, especially if they’re suede like my moxi’s.

These laces tie so nicely on my ice skates. I skated for an hour and didn’t have to retype them like I did with my old ones.

I love my teal Spark Derby Laces for my Moxi skates. They fit like a blessing and I can lace my skates nice and snug. Definitely corrected the "lace bite" I was having with my former ones that were too thin. Will buy more in the future for more themes (I call my current one "off the book Mad Hatter").Disclaimer: They do stain a bit, try correcting any with the magic eraser sponge (depending on your skate material). No problem for me at the moment.
