DESCRIPTION
This DERNORD 2- Piece ball valve is made of Stainless Steel 304 for higher corrosion resistance than Brass/copper and has a vinyl-covered lever handle with LOCKING DEVICE for on/off manual control. Stainless steel ball valves with PTFE seals & seats offer excellent corrosion resistance for most applications. Stainless steel & PTFE work well in applications including but not limited to water, oil, gas/air, light alkali's and acids, biodiesel, fuels and alcohols. These ball valves are fitted with tight seals to ensure no leakage and a long lasting seal after many years of frequent usage. All metal pieces of our valves are SS304, including the nuts and other exterior metals. Other manufacturers cut costs by using 201 Stainless steel on these parts which results in a rusty looking valve over time. DERNORD manufacturers its 2-piece ball valves with all 304 Stainless steel parts so you can be sure there won't be any rust formation from external air or water exposure over time.
Available in both Wog200 and Wog1000. Wog200 are considered ideal for most general applications. Wog1000 are for high pressure and industrial applications where of the valve are preferred.

I go through a lot of valves we do asphalt repair and spray sealer with silica sand through them it eats the seals in the valves and eventually leak but I’ve found that stainless holds up just as long as carbon steel valves and at half the price the valve body hold up well considering we drop it on hard pavement daily the handle eventually started coming off but for someone using this as normal it would last years but for me 4 times a year

If you changed your hoses and compressor with High Flow fittings, go all the way with high flow valves. Regular valves restrict 50% air flow. Highly recommend these fittings.

The fit and finish of the valve is great. The valve is to be used for gas cut-off for emergency generator.

The valve itself works fine, but the little metal piece that slides to lock the handle has too much play in it, and you can easily wiggle it out of place with a padlock installed and turn the handle anyway. Wish I had tried that out before I paid a plumber to install it.
