The Desert Fox is a compact, light-weight gold panning machine you can take anywhere. Weighing under 10 pounds even with a rugged folding stand, it folds up and stores neatly in its Action Packer tub. Operate it right out of the tub, or remove it from the case and use it in a stream. The Desert Fox spiral wheel has 7 separate spirals which pick up GOLD 7 times with each rotation of the wheel (105 times per minute). The 7 spirals dump gold into the tube-shaft and into a hanging gold catch-cup. The Desert Fox's pitch adjustment and water spray system help you “tune out” the black sand.
This variable speed Desert Fox Automatic Gold Panning Machine is aptly named because it was designed to conserve water and will operate on just 3 gallons. It sets up quickly and easily and can run 70 pounds of concentrates in an hour-- it's both a separator and a concentrator in one self-contained panning machine. Recovers an amazing amount of flour gold so you never lose even the smallest pieces. Operates on any 12-volt automotive battery or even a 35 watt solar panel (battery/solar panel NOT included). Ships with an owner's manual. Recommended mesh size of material you feed into the machine is 10 mesh.
Quick and simple set up: First take everything out of the Action Packer Tub (case), then spread out the stand legs and place them back into the case, and secure them with wing nuts (included). Then you drop the wheel into the slot and secure the spray bar to the front of the drive unit and tighten its wing nut and hang the collection cup in place. You’re now ready to go! Fill the case with enough water to at least cover the pump (about two-thirds full). Hook up your battery cables to your power supply and turn it on and start getting that GOLD! Screen your black sand material to 10 mesh for best results.

I highly recommend this machine as it works very well and separated the black sand very well. When I ordered my first machine it had a problem and I sent a message to the seller and they jumped on it asap. They asked for some pictures on the problem and asked me to request a return and they would replace the entire machine. They did just that and the person I talked to was prompt on responding. This machine I really love. It separated the gold very fast. This machine even pulled the gold dust out of the dirt. Thank you

This is a classic, and proven machine. Easy to set up. It is also extremely well made, with an excellent design, and durable, functional, and easy to source components in the unlikely event of a part failure. I love and definitely recommended the variable speed model.

Great value buy for the hobbiest . Still fine tuning it but it’s a great addition to my panning and mining hobby. Had a small issue with the first one but they were quick to resolve the issue and I have no complaints at all!

The machine would not seperate the flour gold from the small black sand it worked well with gold that was bigger than black sand

So I was so excited read instructions twice. Started getting thing out and that's when the issues started to arise. It's looked used. When I pulled the stand out it was apart and broken. I was afraid to set it up the rest of the way. For $500 plus you would think it would be ready to go out of the box. They electrical lines are mot protected. It's put together like ametures. The wrong screws were used to hold the plastic together. The entire unit is off centered. I have never seen a setup so poorly done. Shame because the design is great. The picture they have posted is not what you get.

i cant believe i didnt get this long ago ugh this has made things so much easier faster ect one of the best pieces of equipement ive ever had
