About this item

  • MAXIMIZE HORSEPOWER - The DEI Black Titanium Exhaust Wrap is engineered for maximum performance & durability, reducing under-hood temperatures & maintaining high exhaust gas velocity. It keeps your vehicle cool & prevents performance loss from extreme heat.
  • STRONG & DURABLE - Our exhaust wrap heat shield, made from lava rock, features a proprietary diagonal weave that easily wraps around curves and edges. It withstands direct heat up to 1800°F and intermittent heat up to 2500°F without pre-wetting.
  • HEAT WRAP BENEFITS - Wrapping headers & exhaust pipes reduces heat soak, lowers intake air temps, prevents burns, shields heat-sensitive components, and minimizes heat transmission through the vehicle's firewall and floor, for a more comfortable interior.
  • PLIABLE PROTECTION - Our exhaust and header wrap is highly flexible, guaranteeing a secure and tight fit for optimal protection against burns. Ideal for car engines or motorcycle exhausts, it resists chemicals, oil, and vibration breakdown.
  • UNIVERSAL FIT - Engineered to withstand extreme heat, our Titanium Wrap offers a universal fit, designed to enhance performance across various vehicle types, including cars, trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, and race cars.

Introducing DEI Titanium Exhaust Wrap Why should I wrap my headers or pipes with DEI Titanium Exhaust Wrap? Wrapping exhaust piping is crucial for controlling exhaust temperatures and reducing radiant under-hood heat by up to 50%. Keeping exhaust gases hotter within the system decreases density and increases flow, improving exhaust scavenging, system efficiency, and reducing intake temperatures for increased horsepower gains. What is Titanium Exhaust Wrap made of? Our high-temp exhaust wrap is made from pulverized lava rock, stranded into fiber material, and woven into a tight weave. It handles more heat than typical glass fiber material. Why choose Titanium Exhaust Wrap over glass fiber wrap? Our exhaust pipe wrap is stronger and more durable than other wraps, ensuring maximum thermal performance. What is the temperature rating for Titanium Exhaust Wrap? Our heat shield wrap withstands direct heat up to 1800°F and radiant heat up to 2500°F. DEI is the only brand i use. Excellent quality and reduces the amount of heat substantially. Make sure to get the silicone spray and you con also put a layer of ceramic wool underneath if you're feeling froggy. Super easy to install and works as expected. This doesn't come with an adhesive and reduces noise by a small percentage.

It has not been on very long but super easy to work with and looks bad a$$. Get the blk metal ties and the good crimp and cut hand tool ( don’t be cheap).

Looks great, wish color option was expanded like fiberglass but non the less still performed great. Engine heats up so much faster and helps turbo stay toasty. Be ready for longer fan run times tho

Stuff is temperamental to work with, as seems to want to de-thread in parts which then is difficult to wrap. Once find good sections and remove loose threads, seems decent at heat hight heat levels. Works almost as a sound dampener too, muffles noise to an extent. Have yet to see the results if need to remove, I heard can rust metals if exposed to moisture. Overall good for price did the job.

This wrap worked great wrapping my new turbo up-pipes reducing heat radiated into the cab.It worked great wrapping the hot side of the intercooler as the factory “burrito” wrap was old torn and wrinkly, absolutely ugly. Guys on the truck forum loved them.I sealed them with clear ceramic paint which required curing and secured them with stainless steel metal zip ties I also got on Amazon. “Tefitina Direct” 11.8”

I purchased the DEI brand of exhaust heat wrap with lava rock technology to use on the exhaust pipe that runs next to the starter on a SB Chevy engine. By wrapping the exhaust pipe, along with addition of a heat shield wrap over the mini starter, I hope to cure the starter heat soak problem I have been experiencing. You will have to purchase some stainless steel zip ties to secure both ends of the wrap.

In case you have any doubts if this works or not here is a comparison of my header temperature with the wrap and without the wrap.

The product looks good , i used it for my bike exhaust, with the same brand coating spray, there is only one doubt i have, i ordered 2 pcs, the product packaging comes closed with staples, not like factory sealed, so that gave me some doubts that the wrap inside could be any other brand or quality other than DE. Will give it a try and see how it looks and do in few hundreds KM ride.

Good price, quick shipping, easiest to work with when soaked in water for a few minutes. I bought it to wrap a custom exhaust I built for an atv and it's worked perfectly, looks good too!
