This faucet replaced a faucet with a stripped out hot water valve in the utility sink. This one went on smoothly, and works great. The faucet itself is left loose, so that it can be swiveled to the left or right to direct the water where you want it. Although I have only been using this faucet for a month it seems very solidly built and should last many years.

I could not get the packing to stop leaking in a 40-50 year old faucet in the garage. I decided to replace it with a new ball-valve faucet, but had difficulty finding one with the same dimensions. (I wanted to avoid cutting and soldering copper pipe mounted against my garage wall.) This faucet matched the plumbing dimensions perfectly and appears to be a quality product.

I searched a while for "Laundry Faucet cartridge". Most of the faucets here, regardless of price, use compression seals - the ones that have a rubber washer held in by a screw 1950s style. This has ceramic cartridges similar to modern kitchen faucets. It's not the most expensive laundry faucet by far but the best.I'll start at the wall and go to the faucet... I used (2) Shark bite fittings to connect half inch hot and cold copper pipes coming down the wall. (Fittings are sold by Amazon and suggested with a lot of the faucets at the bottom, half inch thread to Shark O ring fitting).The chrome handles turn smoothly toward you 90 degrees from full off to full on - Off is facing up, full on is facing you. Flow is 4gpm as opposed to others at 2.2gpm - This faucet is in a tub where I'm filling buckets, etc. I don't want the flow restricted. Nice faucet, chrome 7.5" from back to front as opposed to 5.5" on some. Comes with a kitchen style aerator and a garden hose fitting. It took 30 minutes to replace the old. So glad I found this!

Ok dyi out there cut your pipes even use plumbings putty or tape to seal threads and don"t over tighten and you should have no problem with this faucet so far so good on mine.

This faucet leaked through the hot side. Called manufacturer and they said they could not provide replacement parts even though it had a five year warranty. They said product was discontinued. They did offer a new faucet, however the only faucets they had to offer were bottom feed faucets and my laundry tub requires a top feed. Luckily I was able to return the defective faucet to amazon and get a replacement which didn't leak since it was within th 30 day replacement window. Just be aware that if you purchase this faucet and it breaks after 30 days you will only be able to get a bottom feed faucet as a replacement from the manufacturer.
