Our tile in our showers is just a little too precarious so I had ordered one of these mats to try out and we are very pleased with it so just ordered 3 more. They look very nice and we have used the first one for over a month now with no problems of mold or the teak oil being thin. These are nice quality and look very good. A good purchase for us.

I purchased this because I’m not ready to invest in an entire new shower. I had painted the tile on the floor tile using multiple steps and while it looked good to start, it peeled around the drain. This covers that area nicely. Is water repellent. Safe to stand on and can be removed to clean the shower. Being good quality teak, it won’t last forever but it will last a long time. I’m going to buy one for my daughter who has an outside shower that they use a lot. It’s very well made and finished.

We really enjoyed our teak shower mat. Very attractive, comfortable, & skid resistant, enhancing the safety of our shower. Unfortunately it broke following a month of use. The short edge separated & broke off. I contacted the manufacturer & was awestruck by their remarkable customer service. After sending a written summary & photo they had a replacement shipped the next day. While they were temporarily out of stock (for six weeks) they generously offered a replacement from their “stash†(identical item with former company branding) which I readily accepted. Additionally they requested subsequent photographs to forward to their factory in Indonesia to assess the failure. Thank you your swift response & action, it was almost effortless!

The product is quite handsome and really dresses up a shower area. The problem is it won't stand up to everyday use. This platform began to separate in only a week's time. The screws that are supposed to hold the framing together are all backing out, which nearly created a genuine problem while in use. I believe this product needs a serious redesign before someone really does get hurt!

I was actually looking for teak wood and came across this shower mat when the wheels started squeaking. My mind saw this as a perfect door for my project. In the process I needed to take off 1 outside board on each side to make the perfect size. I mention this because not only are the boards screwed to the support boards, they are also glued. This made it more difficult on me but for a shower mat it would have been perfect for sturdiness. And as a door it’s quite sturdy! Bonus for me is all the little screws and rubber bumpers I took off the bottom can now do duty as cutting board standoffs.The finish on the top boards is perfect whereas that coating tapers off around the sides of the boards but that’s just fine for shower mat or door. I used some teak oil to shine up the sides of the boards and protect them. They have a coating on all surfaces but not as ‘finished’ as on top so that’s not a gig on the piece.
