We used this to put holes in a plant cabinet. This has been great. Hole was easy to make (once we realized operator error and got a drill that had the power) and the grommet covers blend seamlessly.

The Desk Grommet Flexible 2 Inch Cable Hole Covers are a great product overall. The price is excellent, and they’re super easy to use, making them perfect for routing cables through desks or other sturdy, wood-like surfaces. I used them for wiring into a home theater encasement, and they worked well for that purpose.However, I did try using one in drywall, which wasn’t its intended use, and the results weren’t the best. It would also be nice if the grommets came in different sizes and had a locking mechanism. I improvised by using some super glue to secure it in place, which worked fine for my needs.I’d recommend this product for desks or sturdy surfaces, but not so much for drywall. Overall, it’s a solid 4-star product!

These did exactly what I needed by making nice neat wire holes for the command center for my sprinkler controller and low voltage lighting transformers. It make running the power cables and control wires nice and neat.These were a great price, too.The bonus? The set includes a hole saw with a nice spring loaded core ejector so the cores don't stick in the hole saw. Kind of a nice bonus for the price.

Drill bit in the center would not rotate because it would not stay connected as pictured. Grommet cutter rotated, but without rotation of the center drill bit, we could not cut the holes.

Would recommend the drill bit works perfect just becareful and take your time.
