No issues or complaints here. I pressed the old ones out and new ones in. After reading the dealer service manual. I spot welded them in just for self insurance, since it stated that spot welds may be found and must be ground off. They are weldable. If you have play in top ball joint, just remember to install grease before testing for any play. I found a form online. It solves the problem. Very tight, Im so happy. No more popping

You get what you pay for, I bought this to replace my factory steering linkage and saw some pretty good reviews about it and I loved the price so I bought this linkage. I had this professionally installed and I was fairly impressed how tight my steering was afterwards. This was all good until less than two months later I was driving down the highway at normal speeds and I hit a slight bump and all of a sudden I lost my steering and my truck shot to the left right into a guardrail. Thankfully went that way instead of any worst. After looking I realized the turnbuckle had snapped which caused $3000 worth of body damage to my truck. Not only did it snapped but I looked closer and it looked as if it was exhaust pipe holding my steering together. I reached out to the seller hoping for my money back seeing as I was just past the refund date. Only thing seller offered was a replacement part but I had to cover shipping. In no way I am putting a faulty part right back on my truck after almost losing my truck to a simple mechanical failure. After trying to get ahold of someone to at least get some part of my money back I simply gave up and went and bought the Mopar 4G steering upgrade. All in all I do not recommend this steering because of poor quality and terrible customer service.

First off, original shipment I was missing my two long tie rod parts and the two adjustment sleeves were the wrong part number. I was on hold with customer service for about an hour but I had all of my correct parts within just two days. Ball joints pressed right in, bottom ball joints grease fittings were a little weird but they don’t get in the way of anything. Everything else went together BESIDES the passenger side tie rod was hitting the mount where I had to nibble off some of the sway bar end link mount as shown in the picture. Overall so far so good. Considering the price, if they didn’t mess up the shipment I probably would have given them 5 stars.

Would've gotten 5 stars if pictures or description had noted that the ball joints are greasable. Went for non-greasable u-joints to avoid having to grease at the wheels, and this kit kind of screws that up. Overall, great price for the kit.Update: Dropping my review to 3 stars because the Lower Ball Joints are completely different designs. See picture.Update: Dropping my review to 1 star. Tie rod joints are mis-matched between greasable and non-greasable. 3 greasable joints and 1 non-greasable. Grease fittings were missing so had to buy some. In addition, after having contacted Detroit Axle about the lower ball joints being different designs and back-and-forth communication (about 5-7 emails), then being told to call in, the solution they gave me was to ship the lower ball joint back and THEN get a replacement AND THEN THEY HUNG UP ON ME. Unacceptable when trying to complete a job. Was told tie rod joints cannot be promised to all be greasable or non-greasable. Installing lower ball joint with different design since it should fit, but very unhappy with this kit at this point. Detroit Axle needs better quality control and customer service.Final thought: decent kit at a good price, but poor quality control and customer service. If you choose to purchase please MAKE SURE TO THOROUGHLY CHECK THE PACKAGE AND CONFIRM CONTENTS MATCH WHAT YOU PURCHASED.
