I've never had an issue with Detroit Axle products just like normal I didn't like they're supposed to doing the job like they're supposed to they've been in for about 3 months

Needed to replace the ones on my 01 tahoe lt 5.3l front end. But the grease fittings broke off in side it was able to pick out the broken piece and greased them up and everything is good. Will buy another set. Always good to have backups!..

Exact fit for 2005 GMC Savana 1500 RWD. Easy to install for a DIY'er if you have the right tools (or rent the right tools at a parts store), have a torque wrench, and know the torque specs (FYI, my Haynes manual had the wrong torque specs for the outer tie rod end nuts -outer tie rod ends have to be removed from the knuckle to replace lower ball joints). Watch some youtube videos. The kit I received included 2 lower ball joints with everything pictured in the listing.

I had the part professionally installed back in April. It sheared off 5 months later as I was backing out of a parking spot at a grocery store with my wife and kids inside. If it had happened on the highway we were about to get on it could have been a disaster. It also ripped out the tie rod and damaged the splash guard. It ended up being a $480 fix and I haven't even replaced the splash guard yet.The truck is a daily driver on paved roads. No off roading or anything like that ever.I wish I had spent the extra money for a quality part. The savings aren't worth the risk.
