The product was packaged well, went in as easily was it could (not a fun or easy project) and seems to be working fine. Beware, they painted over the plugs where the power steering lines go. I learned that the hard way. I got the new rack in and the lines wouldn’t thread in. After about 45 minutes I took the rack back out and figured it out. After that it was smooth sailing.

Totally disappointed, wrong rubber boot, power steering fluid leaked on both end of rack&pinion right after test drive. My mechanic spent 6 hours labor for replacement/reinstalling.

The steering rack fits as expected. The tie rod is a good compliment to the rack. I think I will hence forth use amazon garage for my car maintenance.

Amazon said it fits 2002 Mazda tribute Ended up having the whole front end pulled apart and the new one was not compatible. The lines are on the wrong side. I had to buy one localy for around 300 bucks.
