Test principle: Use with the rubbing color fastness tester (instrument), set a certain number of back and forth rubbing times under the dry/wet conditions required by the standard,and use the gray card to evaluate its fading (discoloration) and staining grades, so as to evaluate its color fastness when samples in contact with other substances.
Purpose and scope of use: this test method is used to determine the extent to which the color on the colored textile material is transferred to the rubbing white cloth through rubbing. This standard is applicable to all textile raw materials, whether it is yarn or fabric, whether it is dyeing, printing or other coloring methods.
Note: This standard recommends not to be used on felt fabrics or printed fabrics with very small printing blocks.
