A little pricey than aftermarket ones. But you save in the long term and proven to be to last a LONG time. Especially the newer XR POWERSTACK versions are incredibly light , small and long lasting. If you have a lot of Dewalt cordless tools like me, dewalt hasn't discontinued this 20V battery mount. This means you can keep all you dewalt batteries and not worry about new tool compatibility. Highly recommend, stay away from aftermarket brands.

This battery is a replacement for an older DeWalt battery I had and I love it. The rubberized base, which is wider than the original, gives a sturdier and more rugged feel. The battery charges quickly, as expected, and works in all my DeWalt power tools.

I debated giving 4 stars because of how expensive these are. But, we can all see the price and decide for ourselves if we want to pay it.The battery has a lot of power, tools definitely run stronger compared to smaller batteries. I have the smaller powerstack battery also, and this does give a little more oomph than that. And, a lot more time.What I think I like most about this battery is how stable it sits (sounds weird, I agree). It hlps to keep your tool where you sit it, harder to knock things over. This was very nice using it with a light, and also with a framing hammer which is rather top heavy. This battery helps to balance it, makes it feel lighter.

Not a lot to say, almost all of my cordless tools are DeWalt, so I buy their batteries. I am not into the clones. I buy the DeWalt when they are on sale or I get a free battery with a tool. The battery is long-lasting and I like the new design case.

Robust battery with decent run time. Has a longer overall lifetime making the extra price worth it. The wide thin profil with rubberized over molding, is very nice for setting tools down on slick surfaces. However if using eith an 18v battery adapter, it won't be compatible with all 18v tools! You'll get a breif activation of the tool and that's it, as if it's going into protection. Then requires installation in another 20v tool or charger to work again. I'm guessing it's BMS related, no communication with the tool.

Gives your tool the opportunity to shine. Seems to have more power drilling with large spade bits ou hole saw then using the "regular" 5Ah. A bit expensive, but if realy gives twice the charge cycles then its worth it.
