My original power cord cracked and started to disintegrate. The rubber on this replacement is actually better--more supple and durable--than the original DeWalt cord.

This electrical cord replacement worked perfectly and fit just like the original one in my Dewalt grinder.I would easily recommend this item to anyone needing a new power cord.It does not have the small connectors like the original but with some patience you can swap them from the old cord to the new one using solder without too much trouble.

This is a high quality cord, but is generic, meaning just bare wires at the end. You will have to add whatever wire connectors your tool needs. I expected it to be ready to connect to my grinder.

Bought this to repair my drill. The plug broke on the original cord after many years of use. Everyone said to buy a new drill. I ordered this cord and was able to easily remove the cord from my drill and replace it. Took only a few minutes!! Much less time and expense than buying a new drill.

I bought this grinder brand new back around 1984, and I've never treated it gently. I've run it hard and put it away wet for decades, and it always worked. But lately the cord started just crumbling when you'd flex it, so I decided it was time for a little maintenance. This replacement is really flexible and a little longer than the original one, and brought it back to life in short order. I decided to also open up the gearbox, scrape out the hardened goo and re-grease it, then cleaned all the 40 years of swarf out of the motor housing. Either it will last me the rest of my life now, or die instantly since I spent money and kindness on it lol.
