I finally bit the bullet and bought an impact driver. As a diy'er I never needed one. I bought this because I couldn't get the heating elements out of my electric water heater. Because this is over 1500 lbs per sq inch it easily broke loose both bad elements that wouldn't come out no matter what else I used. It doesn't have the manual 3 speed like the more expensive one, but not a big deal. It's also very light and narrow so you can fit it in smaller spaces. I can see myself using this in many more projects. If you have Dewalt tools/batteries this impact driver is a great deal and worth every penny. I've used it for a couple weeks and am still on the 1st battery I put on it. Definitely recommend all Dewalt tools. Everyone I've bought in the last 10 + years are still going strong along with the 20 amp batteries.

I had the predecessor to the Dewalt Atomic for well over a decade - loved it - but it didn't survive a 25' drop onto concrete. The replacement totally meets the same quality/battery life/ease of use (and those lights!!!). Very happy.

Dewalt tools have been in my work van for 15 years and my garage as well.I bought this drill to mate with the dewalt PVC pipe cutter attachment.Have not been on a job to need the PVC cutter but worked great when Tested it out. Even though ABS pipe was not listed it worked great.

Love Dewalt because of the quality and power, but this is heavy for me. Great for major jobs but heavy for a smaller project.

I was using my son's heavy-weight impact driver and it was taking a toll on my wrists. This seemed the perfect solution. Since I only needed the tool, having purchased a charger and extra battery with my Dewalt drill, I am all set. Power tools, are the best.

This impact drill works faster and more efficiently than a standard drill. It's lightweight and a 5 amp battery last as long as I do 8(hrs) approx. 😄

Purchased this unit as to add to my group of Dewalt drills and impacts. Use these little impact screw drivers all the time. Needed a second one for another location. Did not disappoint, has a little more power then the earlier version, and slightly smaller.

La maquina es exelente al precio.Lo trabajo en construccion.Lo que no me gusto es que lo vi que traia el gancho para colgar en el cinturon pero no lo trajo solo me llego la herramienta.
