Just bought a smaller Ridgid 5 gallon shop vac with 1-7/8" hoses and accessories but no bare floor accessory. This one fits the bill perfectly. The brushes help pull up dust and small debris and since they are not continuous it does not suction itself to the floor or low pile carpet. I must have accessory for your 1-7/8" shop vac. I give this accessory a definate thumbs up!

Not perfect for indoor fluffy carpets. This fits the dewalt wet/dry vacuum and works well for basic floor cleaning.

Great for vacuuming the garage floor. My hose is actually 1.5" Dia and this fits perfectly. Slides across the floor nicely and sucks up dirt well. Great attachment for concrete floors
