Drilled through wood in chicken house for wheels. Did not realize it was masonry bit. But it worked! Exact 5/8 size fit.

Did its job drilling 18 holes about 6†deep through standard concrete. Used to set wedge bolts in footers for a deck.

I needed to drill two 5/8" holes at a 6 inch depth into concrete for mounting some large expansion bolts. Using a hammer drill and this drill bit, I was done drilling the holes in less than 15 minutes. It worked great!

The first hole was decent, but by the time I went to drill the second (into a small boulder in my yard) the bit had pretty much worn down. Maybe this would be a good bit for concrete or masonry, but old-school boulders beat this thing up after 4 inches of drilling. Really disappointing for a reliable brand like DeWalt.
