When I ordered this I expected the metal to be a lower gauge then it was, I was pleasantly surprised.It arrived in its own box and was in good shape when it arrived. The stool was basically in three pieces.The bolts were already in the holes so putting it together was very easy. Base, Seat swivel and seat. It came with an Allen wrench and a bit, so you can use a drill if you prefer.I was reluctant to spend the money for this, but after seeing it, assembling it, and lifting it. I feel it was worth it.The stool is about 29.5" tall. So it is a basic bar stool height.NOTE: I saw reviews complaining about the stool height. I'm 6' or 6'4 and my feet couldn't comfortable touch the ground while I was sitting... IT'S A STOOL PEOPLE NOT A CHAIR. If you want your feet to touch the floor, get a chair. If you have to have a stool and have your feet firmly touch the ground, then get a toilet. Very sturdy stool. My much larger coworkers broke my last stool so I had to get something that would support the weight of a Mac truck and this stool delivers. The paint is nice and thick and the perfect color. I slapped some Steelers and Penguins stickers along the legs so now the raiders fans in the shop avoid writing W. O.'s at my station haha

Assembly was very easy, only eight screws to have it together. the eight screws were to attach the seat and swivel to the frame. It also came with the Allen wrench for the screws. This product is very sturdy and heave duty.. Great product and I would recommend buying it. I am very pleased with this garage stool.

I bought this tool to be able to work on various things while sitting down. Unfortunately, it's just a bit too tall for my needs. This stool is almost 32" high. I would have preferred if it were about 6" -- 8" shorter. Other than that, it's a really good, sturdy stool. The assembly is really easy, just attached the swivel plate to the base and then attach the seat to the swivel plate and you're done.

After taking nearly two weeks to arrive, box was torn slightly. A good solid stool that looks great in the garage. I notice that two parts of the rack clamps were broken but fixed it with resin. Will buy again
