DEWALT's DWX723 miter saw stand is a heavy duty piece of equipment that expands the usage possibilities of a miter saw. As it works with most miter saw brands, this stand is ideal for a wide range of contractors, construction workers, carpenters, or home miter saw users.

Strong but Moveable
DEWALT's DWX723 miter saw stand can hold a serious amount of materials with a max capacity of up to 500 pounds. With its 5-1/2 foot main beam backed by extensions that stretch to support up to 16 feet's worth of materials, it's ready to become an essential part of the jobsite. Also, it has an extended length of up to 50 inches with extension lock levers that provide simple but steady locking for the supporting extensions, as well as providing an extra level of impact resistance. Even with all of this, the miter saw stand sets on the scale at only 35 pounds, which means that it's much more portable than a user might expect.

A Host of Helpful Features
Even though DEWALT's DWX723 miter saw stand is durable and ready to step up and hold a huge amount, it's a snap to store thanks to the folding legs. The miter saw’s mounting brackets will work with any brand of miter saw. The brackets have a quick release feature that makes it possible to place a saw at any point on the rail, easily releasing the saw for increased portability. These brackets also allow for having two saws on the stand at the same time. The miter saw's material supports can be adjusted to wherever needed along the rail as well as up and down, which expands the possibilities of materials cut and saws used, and they boast flip up material cut stops. In addition, the feet on the tool mount are non-marring, keeping material from getting damaged.

Dimensions & Warranty
DEWALT's DWX723 miter saw stand is 150 inches wide and 32 inches high when fully extended and 73 inches wide and 6 inches high when folded, and it weighs 35 pounds. It comes with a 3-year limited warranty, a 1-year free service contract, and a 90 day money back guarantee.

About DEWALT
Raymond E. DeWalt followed in his father's footsteps by holding mill and constructions jobs from the time he left school. No matter what the job, the question of high labor costs always concerned him. To help cut these costs, occasionally he rigged up a machine to meet some special need. Eventually, Mr. DeWalt was offered a position as head of a woodworking mill that manufactured almost everything from boxes to full-fledged houses. He designed a yoke and attached it directly to a motor and saw, then mounted it on a standard arm. The saw could be raised, lowered, slid back and forth, moved to any angle, or tilted to any bevel. It instantly lowered costs and increased productivity, and was the first DEWALT tool. Today the DEWALT power tools line consists of over 200 electric power tools and over 800 accessories including: drills and hammer drills, screwdrivers, circular, chop, miter, table, reciprocating, and jig saws, planers, impact wrenches, die, angle, and bench grinders, shears, nibblers, sanders, laminate trimmers, routers, and plate joiners.

There are a lot of things to love about this miter saw stand, and only a couple of drawbacks:pros:Rugged - you would have to work hard to loosen it - the legs have a large snap-in key and are sturdy. The levers to fold up the legs are large and thus are easy to depress.Easy to put together - basically, you just unfold the legs. Even when you have a non-standard (meaning non DeWalt) saw it isn't that difficult. I put my little 30 year old Makita sliding compound miter saw on with probably 2 hours of work total. I had to cut a piece of plywood, and because I wanted it to be nice, I sanded it and put on a couple coats of polyurethane. Then attached the brackets and the saw - about 1/2 hour all together including measuring. If it is a DeWalt saw, it will fit the brackets directly. Although it is nice to have that extra room to put stuff, so the plywood is useful. The directions to do this are very clear, by the way. Both sides of this stand extend making it suitable for decking and other projects that require long stock.Cons:The stops they provide are OK, but they are pretty small and if you are working with 2 x 12 or 4 x 4 (on my saw I need to put a backer board against the fence as the saw small and the blade is in the way).So I bought the BIG 12" versions - 1 roller and one 'stop'. Should have gotten 2 rollers as I find them far more useful. I don't rely on the stops for this stand. I'll probably toss the 6" ones that came with the stand. Here's the roller that fits it: Works great and you don't have to add as many quarters to the swear jar when the wider stock slips off the narrow 6" stops they provide.I put a couple of cinder-blocks under the legs and lay a 2 x 12 across them as a storage place for squares, pencils, kitchen sinks. You know how it is. This works especially well as I leave the saw out near my projects and just keep the stand and saw covered with a tarp, thus keeping my tools high and dry as well. Can't think of any other negatives.

I bought this for my husband for his birthday in June so we've been using it for around 3 months. I also purchased this: after reading some reviews that it was helpful in stabilizing wider pieces. It's a great set-up and I have no regrets about the decision to purchase it. I was debating about the portable, collapsible saw stand but am glad that I chose this one.It was pretty simple to set up, just attaching the included mounting brackets to the saw and then moving it to the easily set up base. The brackets slide over the rail and snap in place. The stand didn't look as though it would be solid and sturdy enough (to me) to hold the saw but it certainly is. The extra material support that I also purchased slid on the support arm and tightened down securely. It was nice to have the end of the workbench back too, although it quickly was filled up again. There's never enough horizontal space! We are weekend builders, so this hasn't gotten the regular use that tradesmen would give it. It is a very much appreciated saw stand, however, and relieves the frequent battle we had with space. We had the floor space to place it in so it's been a winning purchase for us.If we have any more to add as we continue to use this, I will update my review.Edit- We've had this for a year now and my husband has commented about how much easier it is for him to use his saw, thanks to this stand. Being able to place it in the "open" with this stand allows him more flexibility with the longer pieces of wood that he cuts. The supports do droop a bit the farther they go out, but that's to be expected, isn't it? You will need stationary stands for more reliable height control. The stand folds easily and conveniently to transport. The saw removes quickly and easily too, once the brackets are attached. Love it, and would purchase again!

DEWALT SAW DWS780 REC'DThursday, February 8MODEL DSW780TYPE 24MANUFACTURED TAIWAN THIRD WEEK OCTOBER 2023MANUFACTURE CODE 2023 43 CJ----------------------PRODUCT REVIEW BELOW----------------------DWX723 Stand 6-Foot BOX Was ENTIRELY OPEN. All LARGE COPPER STAPLES along ENTIRE LENGTH were RIPPED OUT. The stand itself was worth every penny. Incorporated very useful and thoughtful design features - and did it very well. Great material support with all features facilitating the workflow -- smoothest measurement and cutting (including an indispensable and sturdy workpiece length stop which assures accurate repeated cuts of equal lengths).Nothing was missing or damaged.Bought a 12" DWS780 Type 24 Miter Saw, MFD third week of October 2023, AND DWX723 Stand together for about $80 less than cumulative separate prices.Great product. Placed my DWS780 Type 24 miter saw on it. Cutting many 2x4s right now, but getting very good cuts and every bevel alignment was perfect - even double bevels of both left and right directions and both directional tilts. I never had that with any of MY past three (3) radial arm saws, or my father's two (2) before that.I also bought several accessories since the total extended support which this stand provided is ~16 ft.A wider workpiece support (with a stop) is useful, support rollers to use midway of longer pieces, an automatic shop vac switch, and an 80 or 100 tooth blade equip this saw and stand very nicely.

I've used several of these over the years, and I must say that dewalt have addressed most of the quirks and niggles in this latest iteration.First of, it comes fully pre-assembled in the box, which is very useful, all you need to do is slide in the included adjustable mounts and bolt the included brackets to your saw and you're done, ready to go in minutes, literally! As for the little improvements; the old style stand had leg locking pins you had to push in to release, now, they've added rear mounted levers that "pull-in" the pins for much easier handling (and avoiding the ol nipping at you fingertips); small improvement, huge difference! Also, the locking of the extension beams used to be done with an awkwardly placed knob, which has now been replaced by a lever that's much easier to operate, again, small improvements...Overall very pleasantly surprised ; I was expecting the good ol' tried and true "built like a tank" stand, I actually got the "new and improved" version. Awesome. These are built to last, the heft and feel of the thing simply exudes quality and sturdiness. This is the one to get.Slight addition: this thing is huge at over 6 feet long even folded, which might be a concern for someone planning to move it around often from site to site, or with limited storage/cargo space when not in use. The dwx724 is the exact same heavy-duty stand in a 4 feet version that's much easier to store away or lug around... So unless you are planning to use it for lengthy material on a regular basis, you may want to make your life a little easier by going with the "shorty"...

I bought the saw stand for my brother who has an accompanying saw from DeWalt, I wasn't sure about the product at first since I had seen a few reviews online that said that it was not good, packaging was an issue etc. But after ordering it and receiving it, the packaging was good. There was no damage, all the parts were accounted for and the quality is there. Nothing more to say. It's DeWalt quality and DeWalt tough.

I purchased this stand to accommodate a Dewalt DW717 miter saw and couldn't be more pleased. In typical Dewalt fashion, the stand is well thought out and well built. It took me about 10 minutes to mount the brackets (included) to the saw. It snapped easily into place and was ready to go. Be mindful that you will need to read the manual to ensure proper mounting of the brackets to the saw. The stand is compact and a bit on the heavy side compared to the next model down. It works well for my needs but I have the strength to pack it around. Set up is amazingly quick and you immediately get the sense that this is a very sturdy and stable platform.
