I purchased this pocket thermometer to monitor the AC vent temp in my antique Porsche. Older cars can be finicky so I wanted to keep an eye on how well the AC is performing. When the thermometer arrived I was surprised by how large it is. Perhaps I didn’t read the description carefully enough, but this thing is too big to be a “pocket†anything! The temperature probe is especially long, which makes it impractical for installing in the AC vent. I plan to keep the thermometer anyway, because it’s useful for other things… just not for what I intended. Given that it’s well made, I scored it 3 stars. It’s more suitable for commercial temperature measurement applications.
