The manual supplied with the unit is for a similar but completely different model. Assembling the drill on the stand is a puzzle and it is made more difficult by the Amazon photos being incorrect and misleading. I have included the photo that shows what I believe to be the correct assembly of the drill on the stand/press. Please note that the drill has a collar piece (used for free hand operation) that must be removed to attach the drill to the stand. After solving this puzzle, I am reasonably satisfied with the overall quality of this product so far. I hope that this will help! Vin J
