Very happy with how these curtains look in my kitchen window.Sunlight & air flow :They allow a lot of light to pass through them, but provide slightly more of a buffer than a sheer curtain due to the linen-like texture. I purchased white...darker colors would likely diffuse bright light a bit more. When window is open, they do not restrict air flow from entering.Sizing:Based on your window size, make sure the curtains are wider (1.5 to double the width of the window) for excess material to "gather" and look full. Otherwise, if you don't have the excess material... the valance at the top and the closed bottom panels will look too flat/skimpy/stretched across.In my case, I could have gotten away with one set... But I ended up buying a second set and added an additional valance and just one additional bottom panel to achieve the proper "gathered/full" effect I wanted.Privacy:During daytime... Looking in from the outside of the window, they provide full privacy. Looking out from the inside of the window, you can see outside the window.During night time, it's the opposite... Looking in from the outside of the window, you can see through them like a sheer curtain (so you'd probably want to draw the blinds or shades at night). Looking out from the inside of the window, you can't see anything outside.*at least that was my experience with the white.Material and care instructions:100% polyester. They have a linen look to them accurately depicted in photos on site. They are flat without any synthetic shine or sheen.You need to iron them first prior to hanging. Creases came out easily on low/light steam iron setting.But conflicting info on how to launder:In the product description it says: Machine washable in cold water, no bleach, gentle cycle, tumble dry low, cool iron if needed.But the tag on the curtains says 100% polyester, steam clean or dry clean.

Item was true to color and size. Out kitchen window faces East and the morning sun is blinding. These curtains were just right. They aren't black out curtains by any means, but do block plenty of the direct sunlight. Would buy again.

These are nice curtains, but have just barely enough material to cover the window.One set per window would look mighty skimpy.I'm glad I ordered 1.5 sets per window. Two sets per window would look even better.

Love these little curtains got them for my bathroom to match my shower curtain. They look great! Love the gray! They are thinner (see-through) then I expected but it is nice that they let light in. Worth the money.

I had 2 different sized kitchen windows to cover... and wanted the classic gap between upper and lower. You had the right sizes for the perfect look and effect. Delivery quick. These are hemmed properly so I get a little ruffle effect at the top of each curtain. Good stitching; great weave - crisp but not too stiff. I chose white and it was perfect.
