I haven't tried the textured side, as that should be the same as the stock plate, but the smooth side sticks way better than I expected. I've switch to printing without brims, and the pieces I print are still locked on even after the bed has cooled. The bottom of the prints are left with a very smooth surface. I didn't change any settings from the stock printer build plate to get this to work, I only performed an auto-level.I'm looking forward to trying this with ABS. So far it has just been PLA Plus (Duramic and Anycubic brands).

I wanted a smooth plate for my Kobra 3 and this fit the bill. It's smooth matte finish and not a smooth shiny surface - so be aware of that.

This item took nearly 2 months to arrive, so that didn't help anything. When it did finally make it here, it was well packed and arrived undamaged. The build plate seems very flat, and I had no issues installing in on my printer. After a little bit of setup and trial and error for the first layer, the prints come out with a nice visual pattern on them. It really blows my mind at how small the texture is on the plate, but can come out on the prints so well. It's kind of a novelty, as it doesn't really add anything to the prints, and it is only on the side touching the plate, but it is fun! We will see how long the texture lasts.

It's relatively rare to find a plate that has both smooth and textured PEI. 90% of the time the textured stuff is what you want, but it sure is nice to have the smooth side for that 10% of the time when you want a perfectly flat bottom.Most of these come with a "lesser" plastic if they have a smooth side, or if they are PEI on both sides, then they are also textured on both sides. This one provides PEI on both sides and the versatility of both smooth and textured!

The plate itself is a work of art, I want to stick it to the wall. It's a metallic flexible plate for the specified printer but I'm sure it will fit any other with similar size proportions. NOTE: it will not fit most common 3D printers, those ones measure about 238mm, these plates measure 256 x 268, I tried it on my Ender 3 V2 and IT DID NOT FIT.

While it is technically too big for my printer (Sovol SV06), it doesn't prevent the bed from moving. As such, I have been able to use this plate to add a pretty shimmer to my prints. It's weird that a surface with no obvious texture (to the touch, anyway) is so easy to print on.When installing, make sure to re-level your printer. I found it thicker than my stock plate.If you leave fingerprints, clean with isopropyl alcohol or dish soap (be sure to dry with a clean, soft, non-abrasive cloth). I think some of the way it works so well is by remaining clean.Anyway, check the clearances around the bed on your printer and you might find you can use a plate that wasn't intended for your model. Unfortunately, this did not fit my ended 3 v3 se, which means I couldn’t use it, so take this review with a grain of salt. The pattern seems nice on both sides, and it does come with slots for alignment screws if your printer has them. Basically the only thing I can say for sure about this,is check your printer size before you buy.
