2.After use, turn off the power.

3.Turn on the lights numbers corresponding to the indoor temperature and diamond weight.
4.If don't know. Set 4 lights is lighting up on the scale.
5.Start test diamond, no need to adjust the switch switch.

7/25/24 updateThe diamond tester is not usable. I have been attempting to make it work bought new batteries and doesnt even turn on! I basically was able to use all the product 3 times and it all stopped working. The materials use on the loupe is cheap that it breaks and led light stopped working even with new batteries. The diamond tester doesnt turn on. I like many others bought it cause of affordable price but in the end was still wasted money cause product is useless not working! Do not waste your money and look for other seller instead.I purchased this to test diamonds on jewelry and it barely my 3rd time since i bought it end of December 2023! The all the light on the loupe does not work even after i wastes money to purchased new batteries, second the dam magnifying glass piece broked off the loupe! And the diamond tester is malfunctioning as it would make the sound when you turn on would beep and then noâ€ready†light comes on to let me know that its ready and basically after the beep it shuts off completely! I thought maybe it’s battery but when i changed it to new working battery it did the same thing so its no battery issue but the device itself!I really was hoping to be able to use it long time but sadly not able to even use it! It’s very frustrating! I can not even request a replacement and return it cause its now passes the return window!

This tester will tell you if you have a diamond or something else.It is easy to use, but it is a little hard to understand if that makes sense. Look at the table on the back of the unit and you need to use the figures that correspond to the temperature of your room and the size of the diamond.

This is the first diamond tester that I've had so I dont have much to compare it to, but I'm very pleased with it. It comes in a convenient case that is soft but the end protects the probe rom getting damaged. There is a side pocket that holds the little metal piece that holds loose stones. It comes with the 9v battery. It seems to work well, accurate, and very convenient to use.
