Well made softish fabric on the outside waterproof on the inside. So glad they still make a product like thisWe are going to London in May and will probably get some showers but I dont want to have a carry a umbrella the whole time, so I can keep this in my pocket and it has enough coverage to keep my whole head and long hair dry. Very nice. Great price and fast shipping.

This is my second time ordering this rain scarf. Sadly, I lost the first one after five years of use. I love this because the material is soft, yet it's waterproof. Great to keep in my purse for unexpected rain and wind. I even wear this over my winter hat when the snow is falling. I ordered this in black because it was the only color available. The first one I had was beige, which matched my raincoat. Hoping the manufacturer will read this and offer in both colors.

Bought this to protect my head from splashing water after a craniotomy. It enabled me to enjoy rides at a theme park. Worked great and kept me from worrying about infection!

I needed a plastic rain hat for use with a costume, and this product is exactly what I was looking for. It's got plenty of room to fit over my hair without messing it up, and the slight color makes it visible from the audience. It seems to be made quite well for the price, in terms of the stitching, edging, etc, but the plastic layer itself is quite thin. If you are purchasing this to repeatedly use in the rain, I'm not sure if it would hold up as well as the ones our grandmothers kept in every coat pocket. Those things lasted for years, but this one looks like it could actually tear if you aren't careful. If you've been looking everywhere for this hard to find item, I'd recommend it at this low price, but I'd caution that you might want to buy a few extras.

I don't like that the materials used to make it will outlive us all. That said...It is very convenient if you are going to be out in the rain for a while. It is reusable. You can stuff it in a pocket -not bulky like an umbrella. The shape keeps water out of your eyes.I got it because we were on strike for three weeks & had to deal with all kinds of precipitation. It made me really appreciate mail carriers. My rain coat is a tightly woven canvas & got soggy after about 20 minutes, so this plus an umbrella when the rain got really bad, did the trick.

I don't always want to wear a rain jacket, especially if I'm just running from my car to work & back again. But I do like to keep the rain off my hair. I wondered if you could still get these "old lady" head coverings...there weren't a lot on Amazon but I was pleased to find this one! It ties securely around my neck and keeps the rain off my head. Now I am an old lady.

I originally loved this head cover. It worked great when it was lightly raining. I actually used it to cover my dog's head so water wouldn't get in his ears. After only using it very gently maybe 4 or 5 times, the stitching is already coming apart at the seams.

Honestly, my Grandmother will never use this. It is just so enormous you could fit three people underneath. Not practical at all. Do not recommend, unless you have a massive beehive hairstyle that you need to keep dry.
