This holds 2 of our electric toothbrushes so nicely. It's so much nicer than I thought it would be. It's pretty, sturdy, and even leaves space for the toothpaste and an extra toothbrush. The color is perfect. Great price too.

The Diatomite Toothbrush Holder for Bathrooms, worked perfectly and was a great match with the granite countertop. The slots are large enough for electric toothbrushes as well as standard toothbrushes. The long slot holds a tube or two of tooth paste as well. As stated: Strong built, lays flat-sturdy (four tiny circular rubber pads included) and the look is very nice with a smooth exterior. Electric tooth brush fits nicely. The only reason for not giving the full 5 stars ... not easy to clean interior tiny compartments.

tldr: sucks away water like a charm.i wrote a long review and it got lost so here goes attempt 2, because im stubborn and refuse to lose!!i got this because my family's past toothbrush holder was getting gross and grungy inside. separately, my electric toothbrush (which i kept standing on the counter, where i knocked it over a lot) would get a lot of water trapped in the hole on the bottom where the charger was supposed to plug in. after several weeks of plugging the toothbrush in its charger right after use, i found the base turning slightly pink inside that dip, and was aghast. i sanitized it and bought this after much consideration between several different types of diatomite holders.i never had the problem again, because the holder sucks the water away before any mildew can take hold. now, even when i need to charge, i plop it inside the holder for a while first, so i can plug it in when it's dry.by the way, I have a oral b io 4 and it fits one of the smaller holes of the holder without a problem, which was my original concern when i was considering buying this. i usually slip in a normal oral b toothbrush in the corner next to the io, and it's a little snug but not tight. even if thicker, an electric toothbrush would fit in the space without a problem.i can't speak for other holders, but this one is great!
