We are boat owners and spend weekends on the water. I don’t always want to wear a bathing suit and a lot of times I wear a bathing suit skort. I have one pair of short bathing suit shorts that I really love. I love these as well. The material feels a little bit firmer than bathing suit material, but they are still very soft and thin like a bathing suit. I was really afraid these would be too big on me, however, they fit well and are just a little long. I am 5‘5“, 117 pounds, 34B wearing a size small. I would say they fit like a smaller pants size 4. I wear a size 2 or 4 depending on the brand. They have a loose fitting built in undergarment, which is loose fitting around my thighs. The water is too cold to test out how these feel when used as a bathing suit. I will probably use them more as casual boating pants that can get wet and splashed, but I might not swim in them, though I could. They would make a good pair of shorts to wear over your skimier bathing suit bottoms, especially at a resort to walk through the lobby or grab a bite to eat at a restaurant. They have 2 open side pockets similar to a phone pocket on leggings. The 3.5†high waist has a thin band of elastic inside the top of this waistband. There is a little reflective emblem on the back of the upper waistband. The Amazon photo makes them look like they’re short shorts, but they’re really more of a board short with the 7†inseam length. I would wear them to run an errand, the black does not look like a bathing suit, they look more like dry-fit shorts. I highly recommend.

They are good swim shorts. The fit is true to size. I like that they have a liner because the legs are a bit baggy and tend to ride up. (Maybe my legs are too skinny!) I really like the high waist; it makes them very comfortable and coordinates well with tankini and blouson tops.

The material and quality of these high-waisted swim shorts is excellent. The nylon and spandex fabric is quick to dry and holds its shape and fits nicely. They have a 7†inseam and 2 side pockets large enough for a cell phone. The inner panty liner is a little thin, but the fit is nice and comfortable. Although the XL was a little large for my wife, she said these shorts could fit anyone in a size 12-16 because of their design and material. She really likes these UPF 50 shorts and plans on wearing them swimming with a UPF 50 rash guard swim shirt The material and quality of these high-waisted swim shorts is excellent. Guys have been wearing swim shorts since forever, but ladies have had to choose from thick underwear that are called a "woman's swimsuit." Why do guys get to be comfy and modest at the same time, while women have to basically walk around in underwear?My wife was excited when she saw these. She's a mom of two, and when she is out swimming, her adventure always includes wrangling two small children. She has some swim skirts, but they're so short--they aren't her favorite thing to wear. She's constantly bending over to do some sort of childcare, and she hates feeling so exposed. She's not a prude, but she is modest. She said that she loves these. They're the kind of swim short that you would think of for a man, but it's for women.It's a different fabric than what I'm used to for swim shorts. Men's are a little stiffer. These feel more like a traditional swimsuit material, but they are longer like shorts. She has several longer swim shirts, and they will go with these shorts. She is really happy with these. She thinks that they are comfortable. And she says that she would recommend them.

I love the material, craftsmanship, and color of these board shorts. They are made from nylon and spandex. I particularly like the pockets and the UPF factor for fabric sun protection. I ordered the hot pink color in a large, but the fit was slightly off, and I would have been better off with a medium. They are baggy in the legs, but they feel very comfortable. They are great for walking, running, working in the yard, and jumping in the pool.

I like these shorts for kayaking. Great coverage and since I like things loose and not too tight I ordered a size up. Material seems to be the kind that will dry quickly. I have yet to use them in the water, but they may also be nice to use for summer outdoor sports. Silky feel. Love that they have the attached inner panty too!

Appear to be well made. Comfortable to wear, side pockets are nice. I generally wear a medium and these fit well.
