What I like most about this dice rolling tray is its snap-corner design. I've used many solid-designs but they're such a hassle to take other places. This tray is a flat piece of 'leather' that snaps in the corners to form a tray. When finished, just unsnap the corners and it fits neatly in any binder or book carrier. I have almost a dozen of these!There's one issue, however. Players think they can pick these up by the side edge and hand them to each other. The snaps aren't strong enough for that, especially if the holder has a lot of dice in them. I always use one of these holders as a 'dice pile' in the center of the table (with maybe 40-50 dice inside). I've had several experiences where dice end up all over the room because the sides unsnapped when a player picked it up. THIS IS NOT A DESIGN FLAW--it's a problem with unreasonable expectations (or just player thoughtlessness).

I bought this for my kids to roll dice in and they love using it. The cool thing is it unbuttons and folds down flat so it doesn't take up much space at all. Keeps my kids from rolling dice across the table, board, or into the floor. We use it for all our games with dice. It's great for the price!

Stitches have already begun to come out on the top. Not sure if it’s made for a daily driver as it’s already falling apart. The idea of it being compact and easy to carry was a good attempt. Have to buy another tray already.
