It says it is accurate to .7 micron the smallest value it can display is 3750 microns. I am a computer programmer and understand common programming mistakes that may have been made to try to find a work around that would make it functional, but I can’t find one. I can calibrate it to 10x the actual number but when you change the low pressure data point the high(atmospheric)data point changes too. Completely useless

Used this to test the vacuum on a mini split AC unit I installed. It worked great. It was easy to use and easy to read. Inexpensive alternative to having an HVAC tech come out to do it.

I should have read the reviews first. This gauge is junk. It isn't accurate at all. Couldn't get it to read vacuum on gauge by itself. With two separate pumps. (One being a 2 stage 9cfm)Spend the extra couple bucks and buy a CPS.

Didn’t work! Tried to calibrate but still not working. Sent back and will get a good one from another manufacturer

This digital vacuum gauge works good in allowing me to know if I’m able to achieve my AC evacuation appropriately or not. I hook this gauge on a rental vacuum pump and found that even though the vacuum pump was able to vacuum down my system it was not achieving a vacuum of 500 microns or less. So it isn’t able to evacuate moisture from my AC system so there was no point in using the rental pump for my AC work. But what I found out with this vacuum gauge is that it can display the vacuum value in so may unit types, I was disappointed that it didn’t have the value in microns. I had to consult vacuum pressure charts online to find an applicable unit that would allow me to determine what equated to approximately 500 microns or less. One other thing that I have to mention is that the battery compartment cover on mine doesn’t snap tight on its own, I had to give it a push before the battery cover snaps closed. Overall this vacuum gauge works good for the infrequent AC work that I do and the right price point for a tool that I won’t be using all the time.5/5/2023: updated review from 4 stars to 2 stars because I tested this gauge against a rental vacuum pump and believed that it was bad using this gauge but I’ve purchased a different new vacuum pump and this gauge had almost the same pressure values. Changed my review because two different pumps could not have very similar vacuum pressure values and not be able to pull a deep vacuum. This gauge is inaccurate and does not meet the vacuum measurement specs as claimed.

A micron accurate vacuum gauge used to be a tool of the laboratory. HVAC technicians had to make do with analog gauges or time and temperature pump-down tables and a best-guess approach. With the deluge of imported lower costs high-feature gauges of many types, times have changed. Now it is entirely within the reach of any serious DIY'er, Weekend Warrior, or non traditional HVAC operator to own his or her own micron accurate digital vacuum gauge. The BELEY digital micron gauge is pretty basic, but it does have a few nice frills, including;1. Multiple formats for data representation, including all the popular ones, and some more esoteric laboratory scale units2. It comes with handy adaptors - which allow access to most of the popular service port sizes.3. It seems reasonably accurate and responsive, especially for this price point. It does have a few minor cons, including;1. Requires a 9V battery. One would hope for rechargeable lithium ion power in a device at this price point2. It has a very very sketchy manual, to the point of being detrimental to the operating of the device. When testing this on a pump down of a decommissioned R-22 refrigerant equipped HVAC unit, I found the accuracy to be true and the gauge to be very responsive to even slight leaks. It seemed more than adequate to establish beyond a reasonable doubt the truth of maximum evacuation per EPA rules for such a decommissioning.Overall, I'm glad to have this device. I would have given it five stars, but am dinging one for the old-fashioned and increasingly expensive 9V batteries, and the almost comically inadequate operator's manual. The build quality is pretty good...a bit better than Harbor Freight stuff, but it does NOT include a blow mold case, which is my third and final "ding" against it.Still, 4 stars and recommended - with those three caveats. If you don't mind the 9V expense, and you already know what you are doing, the manual won't be any impediment to your use of this device. Get a real case for it, or you will break it.

This is a must for AC technicians who do air conditioning charging or automotive AC work. The micron guage is easy to read and has an accurate tolerance. Best meter to use to see if your lines are completely evacuated of air and moisture prior to opening up the needle valves and letting the valuable refrigerant fill the system. Also good to leave on for a few hours to see of you have a tiny leak (or use nitrogen to pressure check for leaks). This meter is respectably priced given how meters have been priced for years. 5 stars for my review

Didn't read low vacuum correctly, not useful for HVAC work. Returned it.
