This digital vibration meter measured using a ceramic piezoelectric accelerometer provides different types of vibration analysis, including recording acceleration, displacement and velocity.
The data can be stored in the vibration meter for future reference. The vibrometer can be used for monitoring machinery performance such as monitoring the compressors, fans, gearboxes, and pumps.

I purchased this vibration meter to perform a quick vibration comparison between to identical machines. I wasn’t looking for highly accurate measurements, I was just looking for a comparison and it performed well for that purpose at that price.

I am not a professional, so I'm not really sure about the finer details of this machine. What I do know based on what others told me is that this is a pretty low price for this tester. That's fine by me because I don't need anything expensive. I used it to check a couple of trouble areas at work, and it told me everything I needed to know. If you need something simple and basic and don't want to spend twice the amount of money, this is a good buy.

I have been on a years long hunt to improve the quality of my CNC milling machines ability to make cuts with a perfectly clean finish. This has been difficult because you have to determine where vibrations are coming from and which ones to focus on fixing. Initially I used my cell phone and an app but I wasn't sure how accurate that process is so I picked this up to compare my results. For lower frequency stuff the phone seems to do just as well but when it came to detecting spindle noise which is higher range I was unable to balance the spindle. I have had good success using this meter to determine the best position to clock my ER32 collets. I still hope to modify the column of my mill with epoxy granite fill to stiffen things up with vibration test results of before and after.

I am not a professional user, I picked this up to find possible issues in and check the difference between cylinder banks. Did well for its task and will also provide some other novelty uses for various projects.

I am using this to reduce vibrations on CNC machine so work is more accurate and electronics dont get rattled... very easy to use and really demonstrates information that is hard to assess.... allows you to try all types of vibration reduction techniques and see the results... should have had one of these long ago.Unit is easy to operate, readings seem accurate based on mitigation strategies implemented and then removed with the same readings both ways, a crude test, but I had no other reference...comes in nice case, instructions are good, a really unique tool, 4.5 stars, recommended if you have a need to determine or reduce vibrations!
