This review is for the DIHOOL 100 Amp DC Circuit Breaker Box.I like this this breaker box, but it isn’t without it’s warts. First, the mounting screws sit loose in their channel. This is fine, except two of them are near the hinge. In my case, one was wedged in tight into the channel near the hinge (see photo). No amount of pushing with a flat blade screwdriver or tapping on the case would make it budge in the slightest. I finally had to dig out my pick and hook set and used the pick with the odd shaped end that I never expected to use in my lifetime. Well, that’s the one that got it was able to pry the screw free.The box is sturdy. It does not feel flimsy at all. It looks like there is a good seal around the door. The cable glands are surprisingly flexible to all for a wide range of cables. The breaker looks and feels robust. I lacks any obvious way to mount it (other than just drilling holes through it).The product is sold as a PV breaker / disconnect, but diagram shows this “PV Distribution Box†inline with the battery. That doesn’t exactly instill confidence.Despite its warts, I will be using it as a PV disconnect. My current and voltage will be no where near the device limits.

This is a very well made solar panel disconnect switch. I am very surprised at the quality of it.The outer box seems very solid and strong. It should hold up against the elements well. The inner gasket is a bit thin though. I guess time will tell on that.The switch inside clicks solidly and with an audible click.They included all the hardware you need, even a roll of electrical tape.
