This is a good quality Wool Roving. I use it for felting my handcrafted soap and it works great. I typically buy my wool roving from local yarn stores but surprisingly it has been hard to find black locally- hot pink, purple yes- black no. But as usual Amazon saves the day! This is a decent amount of wool too and was the best price for the amount of wool that I found on Amazon when I was doing my shopping (of course that could change).

Nice, soft, long, sturdy wool did an amazing job filling in the holes in my coat through felting that I thought couldn't be saved.

Very low quality... I'm going to just use it for the inner parts of my felted creatures. Would not recommend.

This was unlike the other brands of wool roving that I purchased. I do not think that it was wool at all. The texture reminded me of poly fiber filler (stuffing for a toy) rather than roving. I could not get it to felt with the other wool I was using for my project. I would not recommend it and would not buy it again.

This is a very nice soft felt in a deep black. It was great for dry felting, next I will try it out for wet felting.

Perhaps black dye roughens the wool. This worked well for felting, but is harsher on my hands than other colors have been. Otherwise, as expected.

The wool is evenly coloured, you get a fair amount and its wool not acrylic. The wool is a bit coarse but the price is right.

Its a bit coarse and has a bit of very small specks of vegetable matter so not ideal as a top layer. Used it as core wool for smaller crafts and felts easily so it's still pretty good
