I purchased this product after having completed two other cross stitch stocking kits. This was by far the best one! The thread came pre-sorted/organzied. Every thread was identified with its name and number. Fantastic! I will never buy another kit without this feature. On another kit I literally spent HOURS trying to sort out 8 different shades of beige. Come on. Instructions were clear and there was sufficient thread to complete the project. Cute!

This turned out extremely cute for my daughter -- I was extremely happy. I'm not the most experienced/fastest stitcher, so it did take a long time to complete. I want my daughter to have this forever, so I didn't use the felt backing. I bought white flannel to line the inside and protect the back of the stitching, and used a red checked fabric (matches the pattern on the toe almost exactly) for the back. I also added a gold jingle bell to the braided hanging loop. It turned out beautiful.

I am returning this because there is not a pattern printed on the fabric. This would be for someone very advanced in needle work. It’s such a shame it’s darling.

This is a work in progress so I can not give an accurate appraisal yet. I loved the time saving steps Dimensions did for us stitchers in advance: floss sorted, pattern enlarged. My negatives: Aida clothe is very stiff, difficult to put on the frame, it is suppose to be 14 count but seems like 12, that could be due to the thickness of the cloth.Would I recommend it? don't know yet :)

It is beautiful but I didn’t know it had to be needlepointed by yourself. I should have read it more carefully. It’s beautiful if you can needlepoint yourself.

Easy to read instructions. Love that threads are separated, labeled and attached to the cardboard piece. I am waiting on the birth of my first grandchild and the gender is a surprise, so adding the name and finishing it off will have to wait a few more months.
