The mat is perfect. The way it is packed is difficult to manage after opened! It is rolled up and this is not a flexible mat, it is hard and stiff. There has to be a better way to deliver this item.

The product is described as is and definitely works for low pile carpet. Slight curling on the edges but has stayed pretty flat. Perfect size for a small-medium office desk. 5 stars in my book!Unfortunately, moving my office setup to a room with slightly thicker carpet was not the play. The wheels of my chair have now created divots into the mat and rolling is near impossible. This is not a fault of the product but of my own hubris thinking it would work on thicker carpet. Either way, highly recommend this mat, just make sure you purchase different office mats for different carpet styles.

Got it Feb 15th and waited for it to flatten out for a week. It did not!! As far as it being stinky from all the reviews I've read...this is not stinky at all. Very thick plastic so I'm thinking that's why it's hard to flatten out because it came rolled. I sent it back cause it wouldn't flatten out. Tried lots of methods.

It's really a shame that people give lower ratings because of their inability to follow instructions.This product is high quality. Slight smell out of the box that goes away in 24 hours. It's rolled up, and it's bendable. So you have to read the instructions on how to make it flat. This is so easy. Sure, you can spend your $100 on one that ships flat...but I got THIS one and then used the money I saved on a new chair. Yes, that's exactly what I did. Thankful to be patient and aware.

Strong smell even after two weeks of being in use. I ran the fan and keep the door open a lot, but the plastic still gives off a pungent chemical smell. It was nearly the cheapest I could find, but you get what you pay for. Also it’s not very resistant to “divets†from chair usage (see photo). Fairly thin but did lay flat rather quickly - no curling after a day or so. Perfect size for a small office, pretty soft.

I was a little worried at first of it not being what I wanted, but I was wrong because this product is amazing . It sure fits well, lays flight after a couple of minutes, good deal , and scratch resistance .

Nicely made, grabs the carpet well so no slipping. Easy to put down once it’s flat from rolled up in box. Being clear color it’s really not noticeable

I bought this mat as a temporary fix because the old one disintegrated as they all do. It helps protect the carpet as it should and the chair rolls pretty easily. The only complaint is that sitting for a long time leaves indentations and they don't recover. If you're looking for long-term use, go with the more expensive, denser models.

This certainly is a good mat for putting over a 1 inch high pile carpet to ensure the desk chair casters roll easy and the carpet is protected. So far it's doing a great job! The size is just right, though it could be another 2 inches wider to be perfect for me.

Less than a year later this mat is cracking and crumbling. As many have noted, the softness of the material allows chair castors to sink into it and eventually create holes in the material. It's possible this is causing back problems for me as my chair leans when it drops into the holes. Problems I didn't have before the holes developed. I will not buy another.

Our new chair mat is perfect!I'm just peeved that it was delivered 7 days after I paid $8.99 for express delivery ... 2 days after the birthday it was to be a gift for.

I think the last one I had was more durable. This one isn't staying in place. As in it's not hugging the carpark like the last one. It's ok overall. Maybe my carpet sucks but I was happier with my 15 year old one.
