This kit has a good set of starter items for repairing your own surfboards. After speaking with a local shaper he suggested I add:-Masking tape-60 / 120 /180 / 240 grit sandpaper (wet/dry for the finer grits, this really lets you match the finish on modern matte surfboards)-gloves-mask-acetone for prep and cleanupI picked all that up at a local hardware store for under $20. I followed Faktion Surfboards shaper Mark Petrocelli's guide on pilgrim surf, great step by step with photos.No one likes a poorly sanded glob of sun cure for a repair, like I used to make. With this kit, a few extra items, and a good step by step (tons on Google) you can get very good results.

Stocking stuffer, and have been using this for years. Didn't realize this was a 'mom and pop', which is so dope. Makes me miss Surfer Supplies where I bought my first 10' in 1998, also a mom and pop. Keep it Locals, baby!

It is a simple application. If you follow the instructions, there aren't any problems. First time out in the water, I didn't have any issues. Also, the nose is now protected when storing my surfboard on my truck bed.

Did a good job of repairing a Zap skimboard. Repair of scratches and gouges held up well through a couple of weeks of skimboarding.
