I absolutely love this helicopter. It looks great and is a quality toy. It makes noises and has lights. The noises are also just when you push the buttons (3 choices) and don't go on and on and on. Adults should really appreciate that the noises aren't continuous. I also think it makes for a more interactive play experience when the noise is temporary after a button is pushed. A push button makes the propellers turn. Since the propellers are quiet, it would have been nice to have an option to have the propellers turn continuously. The basket carrier can carry not only the included dinosaur, but also other toys a child might want to "pick up for rescue". You can also leave the basket carrier off-- which is pretty nice because of how well this helicopter rolls when the basket is off. There is also a smaller basket that attaches to a hook that can be let down and retracted by a turn-dial. The friction-powered push and go of the helicopter feels so great and the wheels are real quality. Toy-makers should use this mechanism more because it feels really good and feels so solid. I was also impressed with the packaging. I almost broke something because I hadn't seen the little screw holders before that were used to tighten the toy to its box. The screws just unscrew (turn) and loosen the chopper from the box. I thought they were genius. This is far superior to the plastic ties and other ways that are used to attach toys to boxes. This is a solid well-made plastic chopper. It's a great size and has fun functions.

I actually ordered this for my rambunctious 2 year old, as he saw my Amazon account and he just had to have this helicopter toy! My son was SO excited to have this in our house, as we don’t really have any “big boy†toys for him. All of the buttons function properly, and it seems like a fun set for any toddler. Keep in mind, this is for ages THREE AND UP, as is listed on the packaging and listing. However, my son will not be playing with it by himself. I personally don’t see any small parts, but just in case something breaks off of it, best to be safe. I don’t think anything would break off of it, the construction seems very sturdy. I think this would be an excellent gift for any toddler, be it in their Easter basket or a birthday present!
