I purchased this to replace the rear brake caliper on an MX650. It fits perfectly and solved my problem (a weakened spring that caused the brakes to lock up when the bike was pushed backward). The new caliper went on in 10 minutes and works like it should. Cost effective fix to get the grands back on the trail.

Installed on a mx650 that had worn brake pads. Took old one off and put new one on. Adjusted it initially so the pads contacted the rotor and then gave it a small amount of slack and then tightened the cable. I find working on the bike easier when fliped upside down

This was perfect replacement for the rear brake caliper for my Razor MX 650. Easy to install and was up and running in 10 minutes.

Same as the old one I took off however with one catch... the width of it is close to twice as thick. Both are the same part number however. The old caliper has a much lower profile plate on the none moving brake pad side while this one had a much thicker block looking back side. This makes it one have a couple mm of clearance from the tires side wall which the old one had almost 3/4 of an inch. It works but it's leaving groves in my sidewall every time I hit a bump. I had to remove the back and replace it with the old calipers back to make it right on my scooter and all works well now. Check first because this may be much thicker than the one you are taking off but since it doesn't tell you that it's hard to tell before hand.
