Black Ice Snowmobile Ski Guides protect snowmobile carbides and trailer or truck beds from damage that can be caused when unloading and loading snowmobiles for transport. The 6.375-inch wide ski guides feature a low-profile 0.25-inch thick grooved surface designed to reduce friction, allowing snowmobile carbides to easily glide along smoothly. These ski guides include recessed mounting holes to create a flush attachment to your trailer or truck bed. Made of durable, long-lasting HDPE, these guides won’t crack or chip even in extremely cold temperatures. Available in 5-foot and 7-foot-10 lengths to accommodate a variety of snowmobile, trailer, and pickup truck bed sizes.
Warning and Usage Guidelines
Mounting hardware is not included. Take care not to over-tighten the mounting screws as this can prevent your guides from expanding and contracting appropriately with changing temperatures and lead to warping.

I ordered these before I found their competitor. These ski glides require you to purchase the mounting hardware separately. Also the design makes it a little more difficult to install the hardware and still allow for expansion and contraction. You have to put the screws in just right. The competitor includes the hardware and spacers that allow for expansion and contraction much easier. The overall product appears that it will work well and last a long time.

Buried down in the description of the project product. It says that no mounting hardware comes with these rails. Of course they don’t say it up front where you can actually see it. You always assume that the mounting hardware for a product comes with it. Getting ready to do the project, realized had no screws! What a rip off company. Now I have to spend my time to go out and find and buy the right mounting screws for this. What a cheap company.
