Worked great on my John Deere L100 mower. Mounting bracket fit just as good as the OEM one. Teeth engaged the flywheel without any slipping or grinding and motor had plenty of power to crank it for quite some time while the fuel line was being purged. Great product for a great price.

I received my package 5 days earlier than expected. The starter was an exact replacement so no modifications were needed. I haven't had long enough to determine longevity of starter but it started the five times I have tried to start the mower. EDITED 12/15/2023. I hadn't used the mower this started was installed on since early October and had the battery on a maintainer to keep charged. The mower did start today when I needed to haul a cart load of debris but when I emptied the cart and tried to restart the mower it would do nothing. I took the starter off and tried jumping with my car cattery and jumping cables and nothing.
