These are great for doing the exercises my Physical Therapist has recommended. They are better than the furniture slides I have because they fit my foot and they move easily on carpet. They are a little pricey, but they are the exact ones my Physical Therapist uses.

I've used cheaper versions at my gym, liked the idea a lot but hoped to find better versions of what I used at the gym. I'd known about Valslides for several years, but was reluctant to ordering them due to the price and not knowing if I'd like such an item or not. Now that I have them, I can say they are great, although definitely more expensive than other similar items out there. I can't compare the Valslides to similar products as I haven't seen them all, but I can say these are much nicer than the blue ones I used at my gym…those seemed too small. I do think the Valslides are probably worth the price because they are well made and provide a larger surface area for your foot, so they are easier to use. The bottom is smooth plastic, so as this product quite clearly states in its booklet, they are for use on carpet, not on bare floors. Great for mountain climbers as well as a whole bunch of other exercises. For what it's worth, there is a little mesh carrying bag for them too. Highly recommended.

Used these with trainer at gym and decided to buy for the wife and I to use at home. Good addition to home gym. Very simple design pretty well made. Works great on carpet and while they do work on hardwood floor it is not a smooth an experience. Seems that they scratch up a bit on floors and that will affect the use on carpet over time so i recommend sticking to using these on carpet.

I like my new Valslides because they are easy to use and help me do my virtual workouts. They slide easily on my plush carpet and I the storage bag helps me keep track of them.

These are great discs for certain types of exercises i.e. those where you want high slip on carpet, and you don't need a lip or bowl to help you keep hold of think. The black side is great for handholding, but my large feet would not fit or would fall off. Think chest push-up flyes where you need slip or they are too difficult. I think these are great for upper body slide exercises.

Ich habe bei meiner Therapiestelle oft mit diesen Scheiben trainiert und habe sie mir schließlich auch selbst gekauft. Klar sie sind nicht gerade billig, jedoch machen sie auf mich einen sehr robusten und hochwertigen Eindruck. Und bei Gesundheit zu sparen ist die falsche Einstellung.Als Unterlage beim Trainieren, dient am besten ein Teppich, da die Scheiben dann schön gleiten können. Der Ausfallschritt wird durch die Scheiben kontrollierter und flüssiger ausgeführt und man kann die Kraft variabler einsetzen, gerade wenn man noch etwas wacklig auf den Beinen ist.Man bekommt mit den Scheiben zwar gute Übungsvorschläge mitgeschickt, jedoch fehlt es meiner Meinung nach an der Quantität. Viele Übungen die ich bei meiner Therapie erlernt habe sind gar nicht aufgeführt wie beispielsweise die Übung für die hinteren Oberschenkelmuskeln. Hier sollte man doch nachbessern.
