This is not your flimsy dollar store sword that will bend at first strike. These are VERY solid plastic. Which, in terms of quality, is great… but if your kids don’t have self restraint and you’re getting one for each of them, expecting that they will “play fight†they can seriously be injured (not cut like a sword OBVI- but a black eye maybe?) if struck with one of these hard enough. My kids learned that the hard way and now they know to just spar.

I got this for my son who decided he was super big on Minecraft. Needless to say he has not put it down and he is requested more Minecraft weapons. This seems pretty durable as my 4-year-old has went at everything with it. The only thing is that the paint was coming off on day one before it even got abused. But my kid doesn't care so it's fine.

We were unsure if this would hold up to our kids ability to fight off all the creepers in our house, needless to say it does. Our boys love them and they are very durable. They basically go everywhere with us, to the store, on hikes, road trips, and they have stood the test of time. If you have a little Minecraft fan in your house, this is well worth the buy!
